Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND

Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND

This quilt really IS crazy! And so much fun! I want to mention in generaly I like lots of your work, and lots that you do (and are working, experimenting to perfect). Please keep at it as much as you can, Francine. Your serendipity (do you know what that means? I've found that so many people don't but act as if they do, thereby missing half the load). Anyway, I'm convinced that it us a birth trait that can be encouraged and developed some, but, as "talent," you need it innately. So, I really want to encourage you: give creativity as much time and respect as you can and still be enjoying it. Hard work is good; but if it becomes a drudge, stop immediately . . . for a little while, at least. I notice that the little advertising gimmick is working for you some -- at least brought me in. Did you choose, or did a staff member, which painting to use. Did they really print as many as their spiel indicates? Do you think that more and different people have come by than before? Well, it brought me here. I don't usually write so much, but I found your work interesting. I hope you'll take a look at some of mine. We might have an idea or two to trade. Peace, etc., Bruce
